This page is a tribute to all my 4-legged friends
that have passed away but left us with wonderful memories.

May their souls rest in peace...

"ALEXIS"
CH NEBRASCKA ALEXANDRITE
23.08.1997   -  17.09.2007

I lost a treasured friend today
My Alexis who used to lay
Her gentle head upon my knee
And share her silent thoughts with me...
She'll come no longer to my call
Play no more with her favorite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne.
Although my eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let her spend down here with me
And for her love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join her there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For she will greet me with her bark.
Alexis, you will always be in my heart !

Alexis was our first home bred champion.
She was a true little lady with a wonderful nature which filtered down to her son Blaze and daughter Sassy.
May you rest in peace, my sweet Angel.

"STORM"
CH KAMCHATKA RISING SON OF NEBRASCKA
24.09.1995   -  23.11.2006

Storm was purchased from Rosanna Joubert, Kamchatka Siberians. He was a slow maturing male and has always been a rather busy body in our yard. We no longer hear his early morning howl, saying  “Hei guys … where is my breakfast ?”  I miss his gentle paw resting on my arm while wanting a chest scratch. Storm has and always will have a very special place in our hearts.

He is leaving behind a devastated human family and his friend Alexis, who is still waiting for his return.

"SKY"
27-12-1993  -  13-01-2006

Sky came to us at a year old,
she is not leaving behind ribbons,
trophies or any progeny
but  wonderful memories
that we will always carry with us.
Sky has always been a soft and gentle girl,
we will miss her gentle howl in the morning. Farewell my dear friend, until we meet again!

"CANDY"
06-01-1990 - 25-03-2002

Candy passed away leaving us with 12 years of happy memories. She loved to steal my son's tennis balls, which she gave chase to along the passage.

Candy was of good nature and used to love her treats and her attention from her family. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

"SHEBA"
10-12-1990
- 28-05-2002

Sheba passed away peacefully, with the vision of her family imprinted in her memory. She was my birthday wish come true, 11 ½ years ago.  Sheba was the origin of our interest and passion for the Siberian Huskies. She was not decorated with ribbons and titles but she was the best companion for us. Always ready for a play, or catching her desert in the form of guinea fowls and wild pigeons.

Sheba has left our house empty, but our hearts filled with years of fond memories.

"SAM"
25-03-1987
- 12-02-2003

I LOVE YOU BEST ...........
So this is were we part, My Friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.

I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.

One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.

Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this..........

I LOVED YOU BEST

Sam has been a loyal and faithful friend for almost 16 years. Due to his old age and failing organs we had to let him go.

Sam, you will be sorely missed by all of us but we will always carry your wonderful memories with us.
